Hi, you've reached my website. I'm Krisztian Kurucz. Here are some quick facts about me:
I'm currently studying Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
I have both hardware and software experience stemming from work in a number of fields.
I passionately pursue various side projects in my spare time.
I'm originally born in Budapest, Hungary, but now live in Toronto, Ontario.
I've decided to change this section of my home page and devote it to short updates about my life!
Last updated August 2017.
Check out AirFuse! It's a project I worked on with a friend of mine this summer that we submitted to IntelHacks 2017. We even modelled and 3D printed a custom case for it!
I finally have a working 3D printer as of this summer! I've been getting some good prints out of it, and I'm excited to now have the capability to use it in my projects going forwards.
I've been working on a new skills page that I'm hoping to publish in the next few days, or early July by the latest. I'm hoping that my projects page will be back sometime soon as well... Stay tuned. Update: It is now live!
I've started working for Square in Toronto as an Electrical Engineering intern! It's been a great experience so far, and I've already learned a lot, particularly about ASIC development and characterization.
During my last school term in the winter, I was a part of a group of core students that helped write a proposal (that got accepted!) to start a new student design team called WATonomous. We're going to be competing in GM's AutoDrive Challenge along with 10 or so other universities where the objective is to program a Chevrolet Bolt to drive autonomously!
